PES will raise awareness for World Down Syndrome Day on Thursday, 3/20, where we will Rock our Socks! Students may wear their cool and fun socks on this day!

This week, we shine our PES Educator Spotlight on Mrs. Emily Hutchison! Mrs. Hutchison is a 1st Grade Teacher here at Preston Elementary School and is in her 5th year of teaching! Mrs. Hutchison holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education (PreK - 3rd) and a
Bachelor of Science in Special Education (PreK - 8th). Mrs. Hutchison is a member of our SIP Wellness Committee. Mrs. Hutchison plans to continue to learn and grow as a classroom teacher so that she can keep learning meaningful and exciting for students! Today our kindergarteners experienced an exciting adventure at the Easton Bowling Alley! They learned teamwork, shared plenty of laughs, and enjoyed their first taste of friendly competition on the lanes. Mrs. Reynolds is a 4th Grade Math, Science, & Social Studies Teacher and 5th Grade Math Teacher here at Preston Elementary School and has taught for 7 years! Mrs. Reynolds holds an Undergraduate Degree from Salisbury University in Elementary Education and is currently pursuing a Graduate Degree from La Salle with a concentration in Teaching Strategies for the 21st Century Learner. Mrs. Reynolds is a member of our SIP Wellbeing and Belonging Committee. Mrs. Reynolds plans to continue to help students develop a love for mathematics!
