On Friday, Shore Shakespeare's Greg Minahan and Avra Sullivan visited the CRHS Theater Arts class to kick off this year's exploration of performing Shakespeare. The students watched a scene from Taming of the Shrew go from "page to stage," looking for and discussing the differences between reading the scene cold and seeing it performed. Workshops are scheduled throughout this semester for students to learn how to use voice, movement, and script analysis to develop character. #ColonelTOUGH

Congratulations to our baseball coach, Coach Ryan Blanchfield, for being named the 2022 Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches (MSABC) Coach of the Year for District 8! Coach Blanchfield had a fantastic season last year with a 20-5 record and a trip to the state finals. More importantly, Coach Blanchfield is an excellent role model and leader for his team - he has created a true second family for his athletes.
Coach Blanchfield is also a one of our PE/health teachers and a 2009 CRHS graduate! #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown
