Congratulations to CRHS wrestling senior Austin Alexander for taking first place at the Bayside Wrestling Championships this weekend! Austin defended his title from last year by earning 4 pin falls (the most in the tournament) while only spending 3:08 on the mat. He has qualified for the 1A/2A East Region Tournament where he will be the #1 seed at heavyweight!
Congratulations to freshman Jayquan Wilkins, who took 4th place in the 106 weight class and has also qualified for the regional tournament! Sophomore Dylan Cecil and freshman Spencer Hitchens also had great tournaments and placed 6th. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

On School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, we're excited to welcome our new SRO, DFC Mark Hopkins! DFC Hopkins is a 2014 graduate of CRHS and started his career in law enforcement in 2017. He worked for the Federalsburg Police Department for two years before joining the Caroline County Sheriff's Office in 2018. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing and is married with two dogs - a police K-9 bloodhound named Mattis and a German shepherd/husky mix, Molly. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown
We want to thank all the officers from the Sheriff's Office that have been taking care of us since our former SRO, Cpl. Lucas Nagel, died in December. We are also incredibly thankful to him for the years he spent with us.
