May 7th-13th, 2023 is Children's Mental Health Awareness Week in Maryland! Children of all ages, even young infants, can experience mental health conditions. It can be difficult knowing the kinds of behaviors and moods that are usual for the stage of development a child is in and a child has gone beyond the norm and needs help. Yesterday, after prepping throughout the semester, Ms.. Kinlock's Theater Arts class performed their Macduff/Macbeth sword fight scene memorized and in character. Each group provided their own interpretation of the characters and their relationships, showing the conflict and their objectives through movement. Artists in Residence Shore Shakespeare gave a final critique. Students reflected on how the experience was different or similar to other experiences in the arts and on the collaborative nature of theater. #ColonelTOUGH
