At the June meeting, the Caroline County Board of Education recognized Brett Ireland for being named the Athletic Director of the Year for District 8 by the Maryland Public Schools Secondary Athletic Association (MPSAA).
Mr. Ireland has been the Athletic Director at Colonel Richardson High School (CRHS) since 2013. He graduated from Salisbury University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s in History, and earned a Master’s in Athletic Administration from North Central University in 2013. Mr. Ireland joined the Caroline family in 2007 and teaches political science and history.
Supervisor of Instruction Jon Marketto said, “Brett's work as the Bayside Conference President has not gone unseen. His commitment to the CRHS athletes and coaches has seen their success continue to grow.”
