The AP Biology and AP Chemistry students helped to create a periodic table displaying the achievements of 90 Black Americans in STEM fields such as Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Engineering, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Aerospace Science, and Technology. Each block on the table contains the name and picture of the person along with a description of his/her achievements. The table is on display outside the cafeteria for everyone to see. #ColonelTOUGH
Congratulations to our CRHS wrestling team for their performances at the 1A/2A East Regional Championships! Senior Austin Alexander defended his regional title and becomes a two time East Region Champion, while senior Saleta Nichols earns the Female East Region Champion title for the third time in her career. Freshman Dale Swann earned second place, and freshman Misha Hogan and junior Molly Coughenhour finished in 4th place. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown
On Tuesday, Shore Shakespeare returned to CRHS to work with the Theater Arts class on the language of Shakespeare, identifying motivation, and assigning "actions" to "beats". Students learned how to "act verbs" and "raise the stakes" in a scene. They used body language, movement, and facial expressions to convey character objectives. #ColonelTOUGH

Congratulations to CRHS wrestling senior Austin Alexander for taking first place at the Bayside Wrestling Championships this weekend! Austin defended his title from last year by earning 4 pin falls (the most in the tournament) while only spending 3:08 on the mat. He has qualified for the 1A/2A East Region Tournament where he will be the #1 seed at heavyweight!
