Great news right before the new school year starts! #ColonelTOUGH All Caroline County Public School students may eat breakfast and lunch free of charge this year, with no application needed. CCPS now participates in the Community Eligibility Provision, which allows free meals for all students in schools in low-income areas. There will still be a charge for extra items such as snacks. School menus may be found on the Caroline Schools, MD free mobile app and on all CCPS websites.

Welcome to our new science teacher, Ms. Angelica Warrington-Waples! She was born and raised in Dover, Delaware and is a graduate of Delaware State University with her bachelor's degree in Physics and Engineering. She taught Physics for the past four years at Dover High School and is looking forward to teaching Physics and Integrated Science at Colonel Richardson High School. Ms. Warrington-Waples resides in Magnolia, Delaware with her three sons. Welcome to our new special education teacher, Ms. Kierra Rasin! She has worked at Lockerman Middle School as an instructional assistant for nine years. She presently holds two degrees, and in the fall, she will begin her master's program. Ms. Rasin is a native of the county and a Colonel Richardson High School alumna. She likes to read, craft, spend time with family and friends, and spend time with her two sons, who are 11 and 15 years old. Congratulations to graduating seniors Sharese Thompson and Taryn Waters and CRHS school counselor Mrs. Cia North for being honored by the Men for Change organization! This mentoring program based in Federalsburg has helped hundreds of youth in the community. Sharese and Taryn both participated in this program and will be attending college in the fall. Sharese will attend Bowie State University and Taryn will attend the University of Maryland! For the past two years, she taught in Delaware, but the rest of her career has been with CRHS. Mrs. Haldeman lives in Bridgeville with her husband, daughter, son, and two fluffy dogs! In her free time, she enjoys vacationing with her family, watching her son play baseball, and participating in a handbell choir with her daughter. She is so excited to be returning to this community!
