Ms. Kinlock's Theater Arts class participated in their first Shore Shakespeare workshop of the year! Students watched as actors from the Shore Shakespeare company brought a scene from The Taming of the Shrew from page to stage. Greg Minahan from Shore Shakespeare led a lesson on how to use the text to create character. Students then practiced rehearsal technique by learning one of the beats from the scene with a partner. Students will be working through this semester on using movement, voice, facial expression, and staging to create character and highlight the humor in scenes from Shakespeare's comedies. #ColonelTOUGH
